Wollongong Golf Club has been transitioning from Kikuyu to Couch over the past decade, facing challenges with Poa Annua growth on the fairways and surrounds. The shift has resulted in a seed bank of Wintergrass, prompting the use of pre-emergent sprays for the first time to manage Poa Annua effectively. While post-emergent sprays like Tribute® and Monument have shown mixed results, the introduction of Specticle® pre-emergence has proven highly successful in maintaining clean fairways.
