In this video which was presented virtually at the ASTMA 2022 conference, Dr Peter Boutsalis of Science Consulting shares the results obtained from a post-emergent control trial to evauate the efficacy of different post-emergent herbicides on Poa Annua. He highlights the importance of resistance testing to identify the most effective solution for weed management and to avoid loss of time and resources. Through the test results he demonstrates that the three key strategies for Poa Annua control are:

 

1) Resistance testing.
2) Using mixtures of herbicides with different modes of action.
3) Applying herbicides in varying sequences. Watch the video to learn more.
