Poa Plants Controlled by Tribute

Summer has seen a concentrated effort on the control of persistent Poa plants on the Sorrento Golf Club couch fairways with Tribute^®. Two applications of Tribute were made at a 14-day interval. The surfactant Hasten and 5kg of Urea were also added to the tank as well as a buffer to keep the pH above 7.

Results showed good control in some areas and little control in other areas. Unaffected plants have been collected and are being ingrown in pots for further testing to try and figure out why these plants are surviving and how they might be controlled.
