Nematode Control Trial

Jyri Kaapro, Turf Research Manager, talks us through the results of a nematode control trial with Indemnify^® Turf Nematicide.

Discolouration, turf density and short root system were the obvious signs for the untreated plot in the trial. After applying Indemnify, it was clear there was improved turf health, both above and below ground. Interestingly, the Nematode counts from samples taken after the treatment applications were higher in the Indemnify treatments than in the untreated plots. Jyri explains why this can happen, and why the turf response and quality improvement is the most important consideration when evaluating nematicide performance.
