The Royal Hobart Golf Club has faced significant challenges particularly with insect control due to unusual weather patterns. The Argentine Stem Weevil has become a notable issue, especially after a sudden heatwave in December. To combat this, Shaun applied Tetrino® turf insecticide, which proved effective in managing the pest, with only minor activity observed on one green. A single application in September ensured good coverage, supplemented by a half-rate application in February for added protection.
