Windaroo Lakes Golf Club: Water Quality

Windaroo Lakes Golf Club is adjacent to the Albert River, between Brisbane and the Gold Coast in Queensland, which has seen a deterioration in its water quality as a result of residential and industrial development and land clearing in the surrounding area.

In this video, Dave Morrison, Course Superintendent, takes us through the steps he and his team have taken to ensure that their golf club was actually improving the quality of the river. Challenges include dealing with problematic water primrose and the management of a large protected native Ibis population. Watch the video to learn more.
