Ian Thompson, Course Superitendent at Penrith Golf Club in New South Wales shares his issues with dealing with Azolla and irrigating from theNepean River. The course faces numerous water challenges that affect both the pond and irrigation system.

The rapid growth of the weed called Azolla after heavy rain led to its takeover of the dam. The main irrigation water comes from the Nepean River, but it contains high salt content and clay from surrounding stormwater runoff. Watch the video to find out more.!
