In 2014, we ran Back 9 program as a large scale demonstration program. Strathfield Golf Club was one of five golf clubs that participated.
Strathfield Golf Club is located in heart of the metropolitan Sydney area. The Kikuyu fairways are tree lined with greens of various ages. Older greens have a higher ratio of Poa, while the newer greens are still dominated by Bentgrass. Pythium and Dollar Spot are two of the common diseases.

At Strathfield Golf Club autumn has started to see a decline in average temperatures. In March maximum temperatures have fluctuated generally between 21 and 32°C. While minimums at night have generally been in the 15-20°C range. Regular rainfall events in March resulted in a total of 107mm.
