West Park Oval in Bernie, Tasmania, has been a hub for sports since its opening in 1900. Josh White House and Mick from the Bernie City Council are responsible for maintaining the grounds for various sports, including Australian Rules Football, Cricket, Cycling, and Athletics. Josh's career in turf management started with a traineeship under the Bernie City Council and a six-month cricket season at Lords in the UK.

West Park Oval is home to the Bernie Dockers AFL Club and the Bernie Hurricanes in summer, as well as the local cricket season. The biggest challenge for Josh and Mick is the limited time they have to maintain the grounds, especially the cricket square. Despite strong winds and wet weather, they have managed to keep the playing surface in good condition.
