Mount Lawley Golf Club: Volunteer Support

When your local community collaborates for the environment.

Under Superintendent Rod Tat’s leadership, Mt Lawley Golf Club excels not only through the efforts of a dedicated team but also thanks to the invaluable contributions of local volunteers. Since the 2018 renovation project, volunteer numbers have surged, with around 30 volunteers assisting in planting and maintaining vegetation, playing a crucial role in the club's environmental initiatives.

Over the past four years, they have reintroduced nearly 9,500 native plants, restored natural vegetation, and managed problematic areas, all while hosting 65,000 to 75,000 rounds of golf annually. The club’s commitment to environmental projects and collaborative efforts earned them the highest recognition at the national Turf Industry Awards. Discover more about the vital role of volunteers and the incredible behind-the-scenes efforts in this video.
