Dennis Grounds, Course Superintendent at Catalina Country Club in New South Wales gives his insights into the challenges faced during renovations at the golf course. One of the major issues that needed to be addressed was the presence of trees causing shade, moisture, and problems with tree roots. A tree management plan was implemented, which has proven to be effective in managing these issues. Significant tree removal has taken place along the fairway to improve the line of play and shot-making ability for golfers.
