Costal saltmarshes are important habitats for birds and fish. We caught up with Superintendent David Thompson, to discuss the saltmarsh rehabilitation project at Bermagui Country Club.

We caught up with David Thompson, Superintendent at Bermagui Country Club in New South Wales to discuss the saltmarsh rehabilitation project. With funding from the climate-proofing coastal salt marsh project, David was able to clear an area that was previously contaminated with Norfolk Island hibiscus. As a result, natural regeneration occurred, leading to the return of bird life in the area. Watch the video to learn more.
