New Label Extensions To Tribute Selective Herbicide Adds Three New Weeds

Tribute contains the active ingredient foramsulfuron. The product selectively removes unwanted cool-season grasses from warm-season grasses. Tribute effectively controls weeds such as Crowsfoot Grass; Ryegrass; Wintergrass; and now with new label extensions, is registered to control three of the most difficult to control weeds: Goose Grass (Eleusine tristachya); Paspalum (Paspalum dilatatum); and suppression of Kikuyu (Pennisetum clandestinum). Tribute is registered for use on tolerant warm-season grasses such as Couchgrass and now Zoysia, which has also been added to its label.

Tribute label changes are as follows:

• The addition of three new weeds: control of Goose Grass (Eleusine tristachya) and Paspalum (Paspalum dilatatum); suppression of Kikuyu (Pennisetum clandestinum) – Tribute is the most effective and reliable control for these turf weeds.
  
  
• Deletion of the 10 mm restraint concerning short-mown turf. Tribute can now be used on Couch Grass golf and bowling greens.
  
  
• Change from four weeks to one week regarding the restraint on overseeding with ryegrass. No residual oversowing can be done within a week of any Tribute application.
  
  
• The addition of a tolerant turf grass species - Zoysia. Now, you can control all the troublesome weeds mentioned on the Tribute label including Zoysia.
