Envu’s suspension concentrate, Temprid® 75 offers a unique dual mode of action by combining two powerful and effective residual insecticides: beta-cyfluthrin and imidacloprid. This new formulation chemistry has an outstanding knockdown of bed bugs and very long residual on fabric and timber surfaces.

Temprid 75 uses HAS Technology (Homogenised Active Solution) combining both actives via a unique milling process which defines precise tolerances to ensure the optimum particle size. This ensures that the two actives work together to maximum effect. Imidacloprid combined with beta-cyfluthrin results in an enhanced effect – delivering a much more effective control of bed bugs, and other household pests.

To get the best out of Temprid 75 on Bed Bugs, you need to firstly identify all of the voids present and how you will access them. This will often involve inverting or flipping furniture, moving beds and mattresses to a new position etc. Never compromise your treatment by moving infested items from the room. Try to keep everything within the treatment zone. Personal items that are too sensitive for treatment should be bagged and isolated. If special access needs to be made, eg into wall voids or dismantling of the headboard, do this first and then set it up ready for treatment.

Treat the most recessed voids first eg wall voids and ceiling voids with dust. Next use your Temprid 75 formulation through the fine crack and crevice application tips. Equipment such as the Ausmister  or B&G PAS will assist getting product into these areas with less volume than a variable cone set to pencil stream. Apply into all perimeter cracks & crevices behind skirting boards, carpet edges, structural joints, bed frames, furniture construction joints, etc. Do not miss voids in furniture or curtain rails. The intention of the treatment with these types of equipment is to use air pressure to drive the liquid formulation into all areas where the bugs may be.

When these voids are comprehensively treated, swap back to your hand tank and apply using a tip with a fine fan pattern such as a TeeJet 4001. Apply a continuous residual surface treatment to the rear and sides of any dismantled components eg. bed head, backs of furniture etc. Stop the treatment and re-assemble the room to its normal state. Place the bagged personal items in a prominent place such as the centre of the mattress to ensure they remain untreated. Complete the service by applying a light residual surface film to all exposed surfaces. Take steps to ensure the room is well ventilated to remove airborne residues and to speed up the drying process of treated items in the room.

When completed close and secure the door and then place a notification indicating the time the treatment ceased and at what time it will be safe for people to re-enter.

Temprid 75 offers very long residual which is vital to reduce call-backs and the impact they have on a Professional Pest Controllers reputation. Eight weeks after application, Temprid 75 has proven to provide 100% residual control.
