Women Bring Their Edge To The Pest Control Industry
With less than 4% of women in the pest control industry, we were excited to have a chat to Megan a pest technician at Eagle Pest Control and hear what motivated her join the industry.
As of Oct 4th 2022, the Environmental Science division of Bayer was divested and transferred to Envu. Note that this content was produced prior to separation.
Megan from Eagle Pest Control became a technician to work alongside her husband and have flexibility with their children and daily life. After working as a laborer for 18 months, Megan decided to take a course to become a licensed technician. She brings a woman's touch to the business, approaching problems differently and providing a unique perspective. Megan mentions that customers are often surprised to see a woman performing pest control services.
Megan encourages women to pursue a career in pest control, emphasizing that it is rewarding, requires problem-solving skills, and they do not have to conform to traditional gender roles. Watch the video to learn more.
