Termite risk can be minimised when an effective termite risk management system is in place and you carry out regular checks. This course uses the Australian Standards to provide learning around the inspection process and treatment of any active termites.

Why do this course?

Your termite barrier treatment should comply with the guidelines set down in the Australian Standard AS 3660.2 – 2000 for termite management in and around existing buildings and structures. The Australian Standards are industry guidelines outlining:

  • The inspection process
  • Treatment of any active termites internal or external to the building
  • Installing a termite management system or treated zone
  • Ongoing maintenance and management of your installed system.
