Envu appoints David Fielder, New Territory Sales Manager (Pest) – VIC/SA/TAS, replacing recently retired Territory Sales Manager, Jim Westhead.
David Fielder has been working in the pest control industry for more than 10 years – since May 2011. Working for Agserv Pest Control Supplies in Port Melbourne, Victoria, as a sales representative for nine years, Dave then moved to Envu Environmental Science in May 2020.
Dave is relishing the challenge of working with Australia’s premier pest control product manufacturer and supplier. He sees the pest control industry moving onwards and upwards in the next five years. “It is one of the few industries that is recession-proof, in my opinion,” Dave enthuses. “There will always be bugs and pests!”
According to Dave, it won’t be long before electronic monitoring will be standard practice in our industry, for both rodent and termite activity. The challenge for pest control operators will be their ability to keep up with new technology. Dave also believes that drones will play a major role in vector (mosquito) control in the not-too-distant future.
